Clean filters: a necessity

Clean filters are important for an optimal functioning of the heat recovery unit:

• They minimize the amount of dust and bacteria. Especially for people with asthma, a clean environment is important.
• They are important for achieving a high return. A clean filter allows more air than a dirty filter.
• They provide a quiet operation. If the filters are heavily polluted, it automatically switches to a higher speed and  gives therefore more noise.
• They prevent an annual cleaning of the ductwork.

Replacement filters

When you replace the filters every six months, the heat recovery only needs to be cleaned every four years. Semi-annual replacement of filters even provides reduction of energy use and maintenance, and will ultimately save costs!

A unit may never be used without filters! The filters are designed to protect the components against pollution.

Filterset

A filterset contains two filters: one for supply and one extract filter.
