The purpose of a drain siphon is to ensure proper disposal of condensation water. The drain siphon can be used to good advantage in draining the condensate at limited height.

The ball in the drain siphon takes over the function of the odor trap and the water seal on.

Heater drain siphon

A heater for the drain siphon is recommended in order to prevent freezing in outside configurations. The VMC next control system comes as standard with a connection facility for a heated drain siphon. When a different control system applies, a suitable drain siphon heating facility is available
